Karneval Prizes

Yes, you may think I am a Karneval junkie!! I went to another Karneval but this time a bigger one in the city and not in a little village. The karneval is in Andernach , I live in a little village called Eich it is near Andernach. So In the picture you see my slinky I won ! But that is not the best about it yet......

It has a smiley face on it!!!!!!!!!!! I won that duck fishing. After that I went to the shooting with a gun stand. ( Things are hung up ( you shoot the string) or attached to plastic (you shoot the plastic ) )It was the first time I did it so I went for little things and I got 13 bullets to shoot. I won 2 lollys ( one of them I accidentally shot of the stim) and a love heart.

 After that I got me a big glass of water and fries. and I tried one of the machines that  you take stuffed animals or toys out. My final prize was a pack of chalk I used all up. For a lunch snack my pop bought me a giant pretzel I shared with mom and Charlie.

Did you know I`m gaga for hats ? I have a picture of most of them. I will update a new photo.

Karneval Prizes

Yesterday I went to the karneval.
I won:                                           a mouse

Oatmeal cookies

Oatmeal cookies

½ cup butter

½ cup sugar

½ cup brown sugar

1 egg

½ teaspoon vanilla

1 cup flour + 3 tablespoons

½ teaspoon baking soda

¼ teaspoon baking powder

¼ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon cinnamon

¾ cups oatmeal

1. Preaheat oven at 190°C / 375°F

2. Mix butter till smooth, slowly add the sugar and brown sugar, mix till creamy

3. Add egg and beat lightly, add vanilla and stir in

4. In a separate bowl add flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt, stir till blended

5. Add dry ingredients to mix stir till doughy

6. Add 3 spoons of flour and add oatmeal and mix really good

7. drop by teaspoon full on to baking sheet

8. put into oven heated 190°C / 375°F bake for 7-8 minutes

Makes about 30 cookies

I spent some Time in the Kitchen to get it.

Room redecorating day 2

Sorry for not posting yesterday, but I had no time! I went shopping and got 2 boxes for things to put in my attic, a new desk lamp and a small box for my Nintendo things. Also, my new cell phone was delivered!! It's a Samsung Corby.  I ordered it on Amazon and it has a lot of apps like:
Mp3 player, camera and internet .
So today I did my night table, my closet and got a few cubbies cleaned out.
I have a lot more space now in my cubbies because I placed books and things in the drawers under my bed.
The night table I had to remove everything that was on it and in it, dust the table, clean my night light and alarm clock and put everything back in there that I decided to keep.  I added an owl figure to put on it because I like them and they are nocturnal. I also hung up a pickture of Charlie in a heart shaped frame above the night table. I got all my costume things that still fit and put them in a box on my closet and the old ones that are all used up I put to the thrash. The ones that are good that I don't want I donate. All my bags, purses and backpacks I also put in a drawer under my bed.
Today is my aunt's birthday!  She invited me, mom, pop and my sister to go to the "Gleek" place (Greek food restaurant) I can't eat most of the things on the menu since I am lactose and fructose intolerant. Now in Germany there are a lot of lactose free products. My No. 1 lactose free German brand is Minus L.  They have cheese, milk, ice cream, yogurts, chocolate (even chocolate Easter bunnies -- they have made the first lactose free one ever), buttermilk, stuffed chilli peppers and much more. Other brands are also good. Like a few days ago while me and dad were working on Charlie's doghouse, mom found a lactose  free chocolate cream bread spread and almond chocolate dipped cookies from a new brand.

Room redecorating

I am redoing my room since school will start up again soon. So far I have taken all of my posters down and I am putting flower stickers on the walls around my bed so it looks like they are growing out of the bed! I also put some butterflies and pretty dots around my bed. I have a few leftover wall stickers so I might put them somewhere in my room if I find a place. The flowers are pinkish-purple and orange. The butterflies are pink, orange and blue. If you want to read the things I will do tomorrow, read around tomorrow evening because I will be working in my room in the day. So I hope I will have a Flowerhouse-crafts room. When I am done with my room I will post some pictures of it.

Matrioska bookmark

Since my mom speaks no Spanish she spent a while looking at a picture of the bookmark so she could crochet me this one.  A Matrioska is a Russian nesting doll.  The Matrioska next to the bookmark belongs to my sister.  She bought hers in Prague on a class trip last year.  Mom is also making a Japanese girl bookmark.  If you want to make yourself  a bookmark, click on this awesome link:

Dog house finally done!

 The days I did not post anything, I made a dog house with my pop for Charlie.
At first he was afraid of it.

But with his name on it he loves it!

              

It maches the red garden bench too!                                        

Cute pom pom creatures

I was flipping through a pom pom book the other day and it popped an idea in my brain.

                                                             Cute pom pom cuties:

Material:

Pom pom ring (small)
Yarn of choice
2 wiggle eyes
Scissors
Heart shaped foam cutouts
Glue 


1. Make a pom pom and cut the edges even.
2.Glue wiggle eyes on the pom pom.
3.Glue pom pom on the heart shaped foam (got mine at the dollar store)
4.Let it dry and then you have a pom pom cutie!
Have fun.

Two good crochet books

I crocheted The apple, one orange slice and the kiwi slice, my mom crocheted the other ones.

The book has much more including Wedding cake, sandwich and much more.

I bought mine on Amazon for a fair price.

Crobots

Me and my mom went through pop's toolbox and goot some screws and things like that for the robot.

It was fun to design where to put all the things and crocheting all the pices.

Also this book I got on Amazon for a good price.

Bad German weather

The weather here in Germany is bad. I only went to the swimming pool 4 times this year. Today it is rainy, cloudy and cold. Even Charlie is effected by it.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part Two review

I went to the theather with my mom and sister to watch this movie.
It was pretty good but out of five stars it gets three stars.
In the whole series it's the shortest one and if you have read the books so many details are left out.  The battle of Hogwarts starts so early in the movie and not like in part one they found a horkrux and destroyed it within 20 minutes of the movie. It had some funny spots and had good music.
So in my opinion, it gets a good ***!

My K-9 Charlie

Charlie is the name of my 1 and a half year old wirehair dachshund.

He is very smart and stubborn he mostly barks when you say the word "Kitty"
and he responds to "Cookie" and "Bone" by being all happy ready to get a treat.
He is trained to sit and stay.
When I play the piano he howls along.
He loves wurst (German meat (I live in germany ))
Charlie is a XXXL dachshund because he dosent fit in a size L bed he has a XL bed.
That is my K-9 Charlie!!
